Church in the Capitol

And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:24-25

The U.S. Capitol is recognized by people all over the world.  It is difficult to get an idea of just how massive it is, but you can fit the Statue of Liberty under the dome, torch and all, with 30 feet to spare.  But more importantly, this majestic building has been the scene of some of the most profound moments in America’s history.  In over 200 years of use, this building has welcomed the voices of some of our greatest heroes, survived some of America’s darkest days, and has witnessed many important decisions affecting American life and culture.   But you may be surprised to learn that United States Capitol Building regularly served as a Church Building, and that is the subject of this Lost Episode video.
